Two decades of Service to Industry

ERIN Consultants was promoted as a consulting out fit by the late Krishnappa Putte Gowda and the present Managing Director Sai Prakash, in the year 1980. Erin Consultants Pvt. Ltd was incorporated in 1984.

Services rendered include: company incorporation, statutory clearances, appraisal of project opportunities, DPR, market survey, architecture, environmental and civil engineering, joint ventures, financial consultancy, training, information systems, computer software and public relations including publicity, press relations, road shows, event management etc.

ERIN has dealt with diverse lines of industrial service activities including call centers, cement, ceramics, chemicals, computers, electric vehicles, electronics, electronic media, energy, engineering, environment, food processing, granites, medical transcription, newspapers, paper, plastics, printing, power, pharmaceuticals, software, steel , telecom, tourism and transport.

ERIN has also worked on micro enterprises, an important assignment in this field was the report prepared for funding by the Catholic Relief Society (USA), on a project in Madurai, Tamil Nadu State.

ERIN has been a consultant to a leading farmers' organization. ERIN has also advised employee associations, to be involved in responsible participation by workers.

In Aug 2002, ERIN's Training Division started serving public institutions. ERIN was selected by the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation to train employees of urban local bodies  in  the coastal  belt of  Karnataka. This was a project  under ADB  line of credit. ERIN  has recently acquired a property near Bangalore where a residential training center will be set up.

In January 2004, ERIN was selected to conduct a study on Information Systems Strategy Plan for the Karnataka State Health and Family welfare department. This study was funded by the World Bank.

In 2005, ERIN helped to promote and launch  a range of battery operated Electric 2 wheelers EKO-COSMIC. This project has attracted international attention.

 

  

Public Relations and Event management are areas of ERIN's expertise. Services like the launch of pepsi soft drink form Bangalore(1990), the IFWLA International Convention (2003), coordination of 2nd World Kannada Conference and Business Forum, Detroit (2002) and STONA (2004)  the International Stone Fair are some of the prestigious jobs handled.

ERIN has supported workshops and seminars on many topics of contemporary interest. Energy,  telecommunications, sustainable agriculture, environmental issues are some of the important areas where ERIN has worked. Sports promotion is another field where ERIN has contributed significantly.

ERIN'S overseas associates include ASTEC Global Consultancy of Ireland (www.astecglobalconsultancy.com)

A MOU was signed by  ERIN and ASTEC on the 17th of  January, 2006 in Bangalore in the presence of the Irish Prime Minister, Mr Bertie Ahern, for establishing a joint Venture in Ireland for promoting Indo - European business initiatives.   Directors Mr Cliff Anderson (Dublin) and Dr Bob Hoekstra (Rotterdam) are resident in Europe.
