Erin Foundation

Erin Foundation's activities are supported by the staff and management of Erin Consultants to demonstrate social commitment.

With guidance and advice by illustrious advisors like Late Mr S.M. Yahya (Karnataka Minister and distinguished educationist), Late Mr A.K. Ananthakishna ( Mayor of Bangalore), Late Mr T.P. Issar (IAS Retd) (former Chief Secretary of State) and Late Mr Tulsidas Dasappa (former Member of Parliament and well known social worker), Erin Foundation has organized / supported many activities.

Erin Foundation has organized / supported following, among many other activities:
 

·  Rural IT Enterprise (RITE)-a project with support from BCIC.

·  Rural service and village development projects.

·  Work with self-employment, micro finance and self-help groups like cobblers, weavers and

   rural artisans.

·  State, national and international sports meets in a number of disciplines.

·  Seminars & workshops on Hassan industrial growth centre Seminars & workshops in telecom &

   energy sectors held in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and  Hassan.

·  Seminars & workshops on innovation, biotechnology, food processing, granite, environment

   other topics of   contemporary interest.         

·  Training for pourakarmikas ( Municipal workers )

·  Group on Gandhian values meets- 2nd Tuesdays.

·  Human values at  work (HVW) workshops under the  guidance of  Prof. William C Miller, Senior

   Consultant for   Innovation Management and guest faculty at Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher

   Learning.
 
Mr Tulsidas Dasappa (Died:April 19,2005) was the Chairman of Erin Foundation for many years. He was a Member of the Indian Parliament for three terms and a respected Gandhian. He was the son of Mr H. C. Dasappa who was Minister for Industries and Railways in Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's cabinet.
