ERIN has long standing relationship with the energy sector. Associated with PCI Inc of Maryland, USA, ERIN brings associations with US energy companies as well. PCI has been a consultant with the US Dept of Energy, and has worked on assignments both within and outside of USA.

In India, ERIN has organized workshops on Energy, in association with Karnataka Power Corporation and Terotech International. Several international experts have visited India on ERIN's invitation, from Terotech of Ireland & Vietnam, Electricity Board of Ireland and PCI of USA, among others.

ERIN's in-house energy team is led by Mr S. Govindappa, former Member (Technical) of Karnataka Electricity Board (now KPTCL) and ex-Director, Karnataka Power Corporation. He was also a Director on the Board of the Mysore Electrical Industries, Bangalore. Mr Govindappa is a member of the Karnataka Government's Power Review Committee. With over four decades of experience in the energy sector including hydel and thermal generation, electrical equipment and battery storage technology, Mr Govindappa provides the required leadership to ERIN's initiatives in the energy sector.
